Shailene WOODLEY is an American actress, activist, and writer. Her popularity was boosted by her character Alexandra "Alex" King, a teenager struggling with addiction issues, as seen in The Descendants. Following her excellent performance in The Descendants she went on to take on other roles that showed her versatility. Shailene managed to get her name in the Hollywood world early on throughout her career. This alone is a great achievement. Her career began in commercials and TV then moved on to Hollywood movies. She's won numerous acting prizes for her skills, such as her nomination for the MTV Movie Awards and People's Choice Awards. Additionally, she has been nominated for various other prestigious awards like those of the BAFTA Awards. Golden Globe Awards. and Primetime Emmy Awards.
