The performer was born on 26 November 1987 on the 26th of November, 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the sole daughter of Vincenzo Barba. She and her family moved from Point Pleasant, New Jersey at the age of six. She finished her high school studies within New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. After graduating at Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture, she continued her studies at the college. Since the age of four, she has been a violinist"Violingirl" was her nickname. A result of her musical performances, she became known as the Violin Girl. Also, she taught children in within the community on how to play the violin. At the age of 19, she sang Free 1976 in American Idol in the 6th season. However, she was eliminated from the contest after having reached 16th. She has sung several songs including 2009's 'The Christmas Song as well as The 2010's Out for Blood. She has also appeared on television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba is an American singer who rose to fame while competing on the 6th season of American Idol. After getting eliminated, she reached 16th place on the show, she began performing front of cameras. She's played in small role in a few films as well as on Fear Factor during the Season 2012. Daily Mail said that, in November 21st, 2019 she was sentenced to the equivalent of a four-year sentence for conspiracy to disperse the drug fentanyl. In July the singer was accused of having more than 400 grams of Fentanyl, with intent to distribute. However, she was arrested in Virginia, in October 2018 when she tried to deliver two pounds worth of fentanyl to an underground storage facility.
